Period poverty is a serious issue that affects those who do not have access to clean menstrual products. Without proper access to these products, menstruators may have difficulties attending school, work, or doing anything else that they would be able to do if they had the proper products.

A lack of access to these products may also force menstruators to find alternative methods to help them carry on with their daily activities. This includes using toilet paper, socks, and using pads or tampons for longer than recommended.

Having a period is not a choice and one should have to suffer from this!
